Terms of use
How Makard works, and what you and we agree to when you use it.
What Makard is
Makard is an NFC business card. Each card holds a fixed web address. When someone taps it, Makard opens the profile page or link the card's owner chose in the Makard app.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account. Keep that account secure: anyone who can sign in as you can change your profile, links and cards.
Your profile and links
You own what you put on Makard. By publishing it, you let us show your profile page, and send visitors to your links, for as long as you keep them on Makard.
You are responsible for what you publish. Don't use Makard for anything illegal, to pretend to be someone else, or to link to scams, malware or content that harms others. We may hide content or close accounts that do.
Usernames
Your username is part of your public address. You can change it at most once every 30 days. Some names are reserved, and we may take back a username that impersonates someone or infringes their rights.
Cards
A card always opens the same Makard address, and you decide where it leads. If you lose a card, switch it off in the app so taps no longer open your page.
The service
We work to keep Makard running, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features, and we will say so in the app when it affects you.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change applies.
